Companies should not be allowed to track customers without their permission. Cell phone companies use their products as a spying resource. The companies know our location when using the GPS app or when we download apps or search the web. Using RFID helps customers know more about the product before its being purchase. Cells phones are being used for the wrong purpose for companies, though others may argue, and the RFID can help find if the product is trustworthy or fake.
Cell phones are being used for the wrong purpose. Cell phones are used to track buyers locations, research, and apps they get. The cell phones we purchase are meant for us to view not companies. In the article it states “Every time you download an app, search for a website, send a text, snap a QR code or drive by a store with your GPS on, you are being tracked by your cell phone company.” Being tracked by companies is not what buyers want. What is used on their phones is privacy. Also in the article it says “Details about your habits, your age and gender are complied and can be sold to third parties.” Companies are abusing their power of the product. The use of the cell phone is not meant for companies after bought.
Yet some readers might challenge the views by insisting that companies deserve to view our phones. Phones can be used both positively and negatively by the user. The phone company also does not hide the fact they collect information. In the article it says “All the major cell phone companies admit to collecting information about its customers. Though they collect our information, it can have a positive impact towards their product. Also in the text it says “Cell phone companies do notify customers about the data they collect.” Though customers do not want companies to view their status they agreed to it. Customers may see it as deceitful but they agreed to it in terms of use.
