Albert Einstein said, “The value of a man resides in what he gives and not in what he is capable of receiving.” The appropriate balance between being successful financially and giving back to others is picking something that makes you happy. If you work a dead end job that you don’t enjoy then you will not work hard to achieve higher goals but if you work in a field that you enjoy then you will push harder to make something of yourself. In life we must all decide what we want to do and it could be because of personal experiences or just that certain aspect of life interest you. When giving back to others it has to be from the heart or it won’t really be a sacrifice or giving back. Giving back is a part of life and is an essential part of life. It shows gratitude and the knowledge that you know you would not be there if no one gave you the chance to be where you are at. We all make choices in our life like our career goals, interest, passions, hobbies, friends, and on so many other factors.
Nothing satisfies the soul and makes you feel good about yourself then helping someone in need. Does not matter if it is a stranger or something you know just being able to help someone else feels great. In addition, we would want someone to help us if we were in that situation where help could be useful. If it was money, food, or even clothes it would be much appreciated. You never know what can happen in life because life is full of unexpected disasters or consequences that can change the path we were once on. One minute we could be on top of the world and then the next minute we could be on the street begging for money or something to eat. Most people like the idea of being better or being more successful or being fit or being happy or being in a great relationship-but yet they don’t really want those things-despite what they might say.
